Hello Panda Cookie Spread

Hello panda! That’s what you’ll be saying when you take these cute little guys out of their package. These Japanese cookies made their debut decades ago, featuring portraits of pandas doing sporty things. The choco cream flavor has Meiji’s biscuit-loving bears taking a swing at golf, playing soccer and more!
As if these biscuits aren’t sweet enough as is, taking the chocolate cookie crunch (and chocolate crème that’s inside) and turning into a scrumptious spread ups the fun! This recipe is so simple that even a child can make it. Use the cookie spread on more Hello Panda biscuits or swipe it over another sweet treat. Even though it’s called a ‘cookie spread’, you can also add it to ice cream, brownies, cupcakes or granola bars.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Hello Panda choco cream cookies
• Frozen whipped topping – Thaw it before use.

Here’s What to Do:

1. Crush the cookies. Poor pandas! Put them into a bowl and use the back side of a spoon to crush the biscuits as finely as you can. The chocolate cream will squeeze out as you crush the cookies. Stir the crème in with the cookie dust.
2. Thaw the whipped topping. Place it in a bowl and add the crushed Hello Panda cookies.
3. Stir the crushed cookies into the shipped topping until it is smooth and creamy. You may still have some lumps and bumps from the cookie pieces. Leave them in the spread to add texture.
4. Spoon the mix onto your favorite cookie or sweet treat. Spread it out. If you pop a few pandas on top it will look like they’re playing in the snow!
5. Optional: Mix a few whole Hello Panda cookies into the spread. Use this as a topping for an ice cream sundae, pudding parfait or even eat it on its own.
