Flowers are nice, but I’m sure you’ll agree: snacks are infinitely better.
And when faced with the stressful task of gift-giving, a good question to ask is “why choose?”
Sure, MunchPaks themselves are the epitome of wrappable, but sometimes a smidge of extra effort can turn a good gift into a “holy bananas are you serious?” gift.
In this super simple tutorial, you’ll learn how to turn your MunchPak into an epic snack bouquet fit for any occasion.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Snacks
Scissors
Cellophane
Colourful tissue paper (or the tissue paper your MunchPak comes with!)
Wooden skewer sticks
Tape
Curling ribbon or string
How to turn your MunchPak into a bouquet: step by step
1. Grab your first snack and tape a wooden skewer stick to the back of it. Use a lot of tape – you want it to be secure! For bigger/heavier snacks, you might want to use more than one skewer.
2. Next, cut out of a square of cellophane and a square of coloured tissue paper. Layer it as follows: tissue paper, cellophane, then your snack stick on top. Scrunch the cellophane and tissue paper around your snack stick (like in the photo below) and secure it with some curling ribbon. Congrats. You now have your first snack “flower”!
3. Repeat this process for however many snacks you want in your bouquet.
To bundle your snack flowers together, you have a few different options. The simplest would be to just wrap it all up with a big piece of cellophane and tissue (like the classic bouquets you’d get from a flower shop). Alternatively, you can put it in a bottle “vase”. Here’s how:
- Take an empty bottle – the more colourful the better!
- Fill it up with some of your coloured tissue to conceal the bottoms of your skewers.
- Arrange your snack “flowers” inside this vase until you’re happy with how it looks. Feel free to loop some candy around it for decoration!
