It’s no secret that Japan has a lot of stuff figured out. I mean, this is the country that has actual robot restaurants, cafes where you pet owls and even futuristic toilets with more functions than a Swiss army knife.
Still though, I’d say one of the most impressive things about Japan is their insane vending machine game, which features a whole lot more than snacks.
So, if you’re feeling bored with regular sodas and candy bars, maybe it’s time to visit Japan, where you can buy all the following items (yes, really) from a vending machine:
1. Underwear
For all your undie-related emergencies:
2. Bread in a can
When bread in a loaf feels too mainstream, why not grab some pan (aka Japanese canned bread)?
3. Sake
Because it’s always sake time…
4. Actually, just all kinds of alcohol
*moves to Japan*
5. Veggies
Ain’t nobody got time for normal grocery shopping, right?
6. T-shirts
Shopping made easy for the lazy folk.
7. Flowers
Side note: it would be amazing if they sold chocolates in there too, like an insta-romance vending machine:
8. Eggs
Apparently they do farm-fresh eggs too, stocked daily!
9. Delicious hot meals
Convenience at its best! There are plenty of machines serving up hot noodles and other yummo meals (that get microwaved in the machine before dispensing).
No lie, there are even vending machine restaurants where you order your food from a machine and then go inside to redeem your meal!
10. Bananas
An a-peel-ing vending machine indeed…
11. And last but not least, neckties!
For times when impromptu fanciness is a must:
So, which one’s your favorite?
